Sometimes She Sings

Sometimes She Sings

Sometimes She Sings is a band of itinerant musicians brought together by the lyrical stylings and song-writing of Mira Thurner. The musical influences on the band are diverse. The sound is predominantly haunting indie folk with moments of rock.

Line-Up

Mira- vocals/guitar
Andrew Serong- drums
Lyn Frey- violin/vocals
Dan Allemann- rhythm guitar  
Simon Godfrey- bass/guitar

Cat Liew, guitarist, also contributed to writing for the EP.

At the end of 2009 the band got together to record their first EP Warmsounds at Bakehouse Studios in North Fitzroy. The seven track EP will be available at a launch on the 21st October. Darren Syrett, will be lending his lead guitar skills for the launch.

Post launch the band will be seeking regular gigs about the town and elsewhere. For updates please check out the band site HERE
